Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedrinho Nóbrega kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Teodoro Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Veados's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus Turim- DMZ the free kick. One of Veados:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Juventus Turim- DMZ:s goal. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Juventus Turim- DMZ. Rodolfo Gøth stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dida Pinheiro. 0-1. After 12 minutes, Charles Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus Turim- DMZ and the Veados players grew even worse after the yellow card. Charles Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Couto in the 14th minute of play forced Juventus Turim- DMZ's goalkeeper Marcinho Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Paulo Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Amadeu Couto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís da Mata hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Marcinho Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Couto in the 22nd minute of play. Marcinho Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo de Moraes's late challenge caught a Veados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo de Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Juventus Turim- DMZ's Arnaldo de Moraes got a free kick in the 27th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Pedrinho Nóbrega's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Pinheiro was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 55th match minute, Veados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Couto to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Pedrinho Nóbrega sped through Veados's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dida Pinheiro. A collision led to Veados getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Durval Zonta hit a great ball. Dida Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The Juventus Turim- DMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Juventus Turim- DMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
