Edgard Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Hernani Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernani Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jano Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juan Matos's late challenge caught a Regina Apostolorum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Matos helped the player get up and apologised. Wiliam de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ciro do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that João Vítor do Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro do Valle was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the game, Jânio Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Regina Apostolorum the free kick. In the 18th minute, Jânio Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wiliam de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruy de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robinho Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ruy de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robinho Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruy de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Sanches in the 28th minute of the match. Wiliam de Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiliam de Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. João Vítor do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ciro do Valle made a huge save. In the 32nd minute, Magno Sanches left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Milan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 34th minute, Yan Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goalkeeper Ciro do Valle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Vítor do Vale. 43 minutes into the game, Yan Paraíba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Regina Apostolorum the free kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yan Paraíba made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robinho Maciel got free with Ruy de Carvalho in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th match minute, Regina Apostolorum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jano Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Jânio Moraes's shot from long distance in the 58th minute was not bad at all, but Regina Apostolorum's Ruy de Carvalho knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. When AC Milan's Yan Paraíba in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ciro do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor do Vale in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Juan Matos got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ruy de Carvalho was a little too slow when Robinho Maciel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 2-2. Juan Matos got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 74 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Juan Matos. After having played for 76 minutes, Robinho Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robinho Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro do Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Vítor do Vale's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wiliam de Mendonça couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Regina Apostolorum players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
