The supporters of Veados booed when GUARANI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilson Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Nunes in the 23rd minute of the match. Samuel Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes Veados got a freekick which was hit by Rony Trevisan. Fiori Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dida Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fiori Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fiori Hermes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dida Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amadeu Couto made a kick off. Orlando Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Mota in the 57th minute of play forced Veados's goalkeeper Dida Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Váldson Bueno during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dida Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Fiori Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Pinheiro having to interfere. If Orlando Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GUARANI FC's Fiori Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Veados's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
