Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cléber Aguiar got the match started through his kick off. Benedito dos Santos came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Campos do Jordão's Edgard Motta. But to his dismay, Edgard Motta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cléber Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrão Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Benedito dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Dias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benedito dos Santos having to make a save. Benedito dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 27th minute Pedrão Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pedrão Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denílson Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléber Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Campos do Jordão's goalkeeper Denílson Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agnaldo Gonçalves. After a rather tough play, CA Haine Capibaribe's Renan Queirós got a free kick in the 40th minute. Pedrão Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvinho Brodel charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvinho Brodel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, CA Haine Capibaribe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho Brodel to maneuver through the defense. The CA Haine Capibaribe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Campos do Jordão were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedrão Tasso made a kick off. Benedito dos Santos made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Edgard Motta sent off a good shot on target. Denílson Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pedrão Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Sandro Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campos do Jordão fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Pedrão Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Campos do Jordão's Denílson Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agnaldo Gonçalves in the 88th minute of play. Campos do Jordão's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
