Romeu Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís de Lima having to interfere. In the 4th match minute, Real Juventude De Caxias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Moraes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Barao Owl F. C booed when Real Juventude De Caxias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeu Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Juventude De Caxias's Luiz Gustavo Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Fonseca in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Real Juventude De Caxias got a freekick which was hit by Doriva Moraes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio de Moraes in the 23rd minute of play forced Real Juventude De Caxias's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fábio de Moraes in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Gustavo Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Gustavo Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Fonseca in the 26th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Fonseca in the 27th minute of the match. Luiz Gustavo Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Fonseca in the 31st minute of play. Gilberto Fonseca scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Gustavo Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Romeu Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Luís Fábio de Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Gustavo Fernandez. Real Juventude De Caxias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Real Juventude De Caxias players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barao Owl F. C were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeu Paraense was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Real Juventude De Caxias's zone, Luís Fábio de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Gustavo Fernandez came out of the goal and Luís Fábio de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Nildo Tróia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Fábio de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Gustavo Fernandez came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Barao Owl F. C's Gilberto Fonseca. But to his dismay, Gilberto Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Pedro Luís de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu Paraense in the 65th minute of the match. Doriva Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Real Juventude De Caxias's Adelino Ortiz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adelino Ortiz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Real Juventude De Caxias protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adelino Ortiz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeu Paraense in the 79th minute of play forced Barao Owl F. C's goalkeeper Pedro Luís de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Romeu Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeu Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Fonseca got free with Luiz Gustavo Fernandez in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Válter Reis hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Barao Owl F. C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Juventude De Caxias.
