Spectators: 7401 (Terracing: 5676, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 50) Chiapetta's Bruninho Santana started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Chiapetta getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Adriano Mineiro hit a great ball. After 7 played minutes Gaucho SS got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Simão. The Chiapetta fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Chiapetta's Bruninho Santana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Roberto Figueres struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Válbson da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chiapetta. After 19 minutes of play, Chiapetta's Anibal Tello made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Válbson da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adriano Mineiro hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. João Adolfo Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Válbson da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Tello in the 24th minute of the match. Válbson da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maria Mole, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gaucho SS getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Matheus de Amaral hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruninho Santana in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Válbson da Costa saved Gaucho SS from getting behind. Válbson da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Tello in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Enio Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Betinho Marinho. Chiapetta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enio Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thanks to some nice moves Bruninho Santana could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Válbson da Costa however easily saved by the left post. In the 40th minute Jailson Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válbson da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Tello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruninho Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Válbson da Costa made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Adolfo Quintal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maria Mole fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson da Costa having to interfere. Chiapetta's Bruninho Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maria Mole took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Válbson da Costa. Válbson da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The supporters of Chiapetta booed when Gaucho SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Válbson da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Tello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Bruninho Santana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Válbson da Costa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldo Esteves during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 played minutes Gaucho SS got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Esteves. In the 75th minute of the match Eugênio Mattos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Válbson da Costa skillfully saved the ball. In the 78th minute Matheus de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Gaucho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Santana came free, but Válbson da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jailson Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruninho Santana in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Válbson da Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th match minute, Chiapetta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Válbson da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Anibal Tello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Bruninho Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiapetta's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruninho Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Válbson da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Gaucho SS's zone, Bruninho Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Válbson da Costa came out of the goal and Bruninho Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
