After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Germano Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarutaia SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano Paraibano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cauã Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrianinho Rezende received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cauã Fernandez came out and tried to block the shot, but Adrianinho Rezende slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 22nd minute. Germano Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cauã Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Magno Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ulryk Czubski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Duarte in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, Sambô Laion FC's Gilmar Corrêa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulryk Czubski was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Corrêa in the 35th minute of play forced Sarutaia SC's goalkeeper Ulryk Czubski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Gilmar Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulryk Czubski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germano Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes of play, Sambô Laion FC's Wellington Duarte made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulryk Czubski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 55 minutes into the game, Germano Paraibano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarutaia SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sambô Laion FC the free kick. In the 57th minute, Eugênio Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrianinho Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Sarutaia SC's Ulryk Czubski got control of the ball when Magno Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilmar Corrêa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Ulryk Czubski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dráusio Amaral hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ulryk Czubski made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Wellington Duarte sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilmar Corrêa got free with Ulryk Czubski in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute of the match, Gilmar Corrêa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ulryk Czubski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilmar Corrêa in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulryk Czubski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sambô Laion FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
