Spectators: 7510 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Perdição FC's Duda Proença started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sílvio Luís Machado's late challenge caught a Trombetas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio Luís Machado helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Proença in the 9th minute of play forced Trombetas's goalkeeper Celso Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Duda Proença who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trombetas's Celso Galvão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Kléberson Brodel came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Trombetas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kléberson Brodel couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Luís Machado hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If Kléberson Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th match minute, Trombetas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Luís Machado took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso Galvão. Celso Galvão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tião Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Brodel in the 26th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Sílvio Luiz Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Duda Proença left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perdição FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Tião Veloso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kléberson Brodel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 42 minute of play. Ediberto Mattos charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ediberto Mattos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Trombetas booed when Perdição FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes Perdição FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz Vargas. The Trombetas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Perdição FC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kléberson Brodel to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson Brodel in the 53rd minute of play forced Perdição FC's goalkeeper Tião Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trombetas's Celso Galvão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Trombetas from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Sílvio Luís Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perdição FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Luís Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Galvão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duda Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Celso Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duda Proença in the 66th minute of play. Manfredo de Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Trombetas's goalkeeper Celso Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Sílvio Luís Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trombetas's Celso Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Proença in the 85th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Duda Proença rounded Trombetas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. With a little luck, Trombetas's Celso Galvão got control of the ball when Sílvio Luís Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tião Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trombetas were furious when Zé Roberto Barreto was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 95th minute, one of Trombetas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trombetas. The Trombetas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Perdição FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Perdição FC.
