The supporters of Friburguense AC booed when Singularity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Cosme having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robinho Britto got free with Waldir Sena in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jonathan Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Friburguense AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Paiva couldn't finish the play. Friburguense AC's Waldir Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Arósio in the 26th minute of play. Robinho Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Waldir Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robinho Britto got free with Waldir Sena in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Singularity defense, Jonathan Paiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Cosme. The Singularity fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Cosme should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Jonathan Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Friburguense AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. With a little luck, Friburguense AC's Waldir Sena got control of the ball when Robinho Britto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match Zé Augusto Tande sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldir Sena skillfully saved the ball. Elias Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Friburguense AC's Rubinho de Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Friburguense AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Matorin to maneuver through the defense. Waldir Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Arósio in the 83rd minute of play. A long shot from Matheus Matorin in the 92nd minute of play was well struck, but Elias Cosme made a really good save at the right post. A collision led to Friburguense AC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jonathan Paiva hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
