Grêmio Garibaldi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Umberto Lara scored to the left of an out of position Juninho Brito, making the score, 1-1. The supporters of Lagedinho booed when Grêmio Garibaldi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball.
