Spectators: 7533 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Osvaldo da Mata made the kick off which started today's match. Osvaldo da Mata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elano Machado made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Osvaldo da Mata sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, Osvaldo da Mata notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cerebrande's Elano Machado. Elano Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Osvaldo da Mata's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elano Machado firmly grabbed it by the left post. Breno Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogumil Jarmulowicz having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, S.C. Internacional's Osvaldo da Mata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elano Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Osvaldo da Matas short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Elano Machado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Cerebrande getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Marco de Lima hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Cerebrande's goal looked a bit too open when Rei Pelle came free, but Elano Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to S.C. Internacional getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jefferson Sergipano hit a great ball. Cerebrande's Elano Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Cerebrande from getting a goal against them. Elano Machado came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Internacional's Hubert Pihl. But to his dismay, Hubert Pihl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of Cerebrande booed when S.C. Internacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathias Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Breno Netto to make the kick off. When S.C. Internacional's Rei Pelle in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cerebrande's goalie prevented a goal. Elano Machado came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Internacional's Rei Pelle. But to his dismay, Rei Pelle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rei Pelle in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elano Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Clemente Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo da Mata hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Cerebrande's Breno Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rei Pelle scored 5-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elano Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Elano Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rei Pelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerebrande's goalkeeper Elano Machado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
