Spectators: 7541 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) S.C. Internacional's Osvaldo da Mata started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes of play, S.C. Internacional's Osvaldo da Mata made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oswaldo Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 8th minute, Hubert Pihl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Internacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Souto in the 12th minute of play forced S.C. Internacional's goalkeeper Bogumil Jarmulowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Furia's Oswaldo Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Furia from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Furia getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Juvenal Vaz hit a great ball. Osvaldo da Mata scored 3-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oswaldo Leão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Rei Pelle came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the S.C. Internacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rei Pelle couldn't finish the play. Oswaldo Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rei Pelle in the 24th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Furia got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz Leal. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Osvaldo da Mata got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 33rd minute, S.C. Internacional's Clemente Dionísio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Rei Pelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Furia's Oswaldo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rei Pelle in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Vitinho Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Furia defense, Osvaldo da Mata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oswaldo Leão. The Furia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oswaldo Leão should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Osvaldo da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Leão having to interfere. Oswaldo Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Dionísio in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Osvaldo da Mata notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Furia's Oswaldo Leão. Oswaldo Leão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 58 in the game by Rodriguinho Varela from a close distance when the talented Bogumil Jarmulowicz managed to make a qualified save. S.C. Internacional's players were relieved. In the 59th minute Osvaldo da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oswaldo Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rei Pelle in the 61st minute of the match. Oswaldo Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Dionísio went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. After 65 played minutes Furia got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho das Neves. Oswaldo Leão came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Internacional's Osvaldo da Mata. But to his dismay, Osvaldo da Mata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. S.C. Internacional's Rei Pelle got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Valdomiro Ferraz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Oswaldo Leão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the match, Rei Pelle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oswaldo Leão. Furia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rei Pelle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Oswaldo Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rei Pelle in the 78th minute of play. Oswaldo Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Dionísio went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. When Osvaldo da Mata fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Internacional's protests and gave Osvaldo da Mata a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, S.C. Internacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo da Mata to maneuver through the defense. Oswaldo Leão came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Internacional's Osvaldo da Mata. But to his dismay, Osvaldo da Mata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. In the 86th minute, David Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The S.C. Internacional fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when S.C. Internacional's Rei Pelle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 14-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Rodriguinho Varela fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Furia's protests and gave Rodriguinho Varela a yellow card for diving instead. Rei Pelle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oswaldo Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, S.C. Internacional's Clemente Dionísio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oswaldo Leão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0.
