The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Vides during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Renato Vides hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Tracoa getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Luís Moraes hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Umberto Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Tracoa's goal looked a bit too open when Ulisses Falcão came free, but Osmar Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Umberto Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Osmar Toscano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Tracoa defense, Ulisses Falcão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osmar Toscano. The Tracoa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osmar Toscano should have stopped the shot. João Pedro Alves was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ulisses Falcão struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Osmar Toscano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lagedinho. 41 minutes into the game, Gláuber Siqueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lagedinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tracoa the free kick. Gláuber Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Lara in the 44th minute of play forced Tracoa's goalkeeper Osmar Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulisses Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Lagedinho were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ulisses Falcão made the kick off in the second half. Umberto Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Umberto Lara got free with Osmar Toscano in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 56 minutes, Luís Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tracoa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Umberto Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osmar Toscano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Umberto Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. When Umberto Lara came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Lagedinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umberto Lara couldn't finish the play. Umberto Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Osmar Toscano made a huge save. If Ulisses Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Luís Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osmar Toscano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ulisses Falcão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 74 minute of play. Umberto Lara succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 78th playminute. With a little luck, Tracoa's Osmar Toscano got control of the ball when Umberto Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Umberto Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagedinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Umberto Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osmar Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Lagedinho could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tracoa throughout the match.
