Carinhatas F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davi Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Natã Favoretto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BR City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carinhatas F.C the free kick. In the 37th match minute, BR City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denílson Araújo got free with Daniel Monteiro in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Douglas Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
