Hernani Motta hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Golabeira's zone, Mateus de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Messias came out of the goal and Mateus de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Hernani Motta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilberto Guedes, 1-0. Cauã Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Luiz Eduardo Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golabeira's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Eduardo Leão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Guedes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Hernani Motta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Guedes. Ibrahy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauã Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Elói do Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Guedes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Geovani Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Guedes having to interfere. Cauã Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Messias having to interfere. With a little luck, Ibrahy's Gilberto Guedes got control of the ball when Geovani Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilberto Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernani Motta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcos Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juvenal Baptista in the 56th minute. A collision led to Ibrahy getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Simão Carvalho hit a great ball. Elói do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gilberto Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ibrahy's Gilberto Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Motta in the 62nd minute of play. Gilberto Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Elói do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Golabeira's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Baptista came free, but Marcos Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes, Christian Seco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golabeira and the Ibrahy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Golabeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Seco to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Golabeira's goal looked a bit too open when Geovânio Lima came free, but Marcos Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geovânio Lima scored 4-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Messias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilberto Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Elói do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 88 minutes of play, Golabeira's Elói do Nascimento made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Guedes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cauã Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Marcos Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Golabeira's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
