Daniel Monteiro was a little too slow when Hernani Motta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Magno Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Golabeira's Hernani Motta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Monteiro. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. After 25 played minutes Golabeira got a freekick which was hit by Cacá de Barros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani Motta in the 27th minute of play forced BR City FC's goalkeeper Daniel Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes of play, Golabeira's Geovani Senna made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute, Pedro Paulo Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute Hernani Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Gustavo de Amorim in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Messias saved Golabeira from getting behind. 44 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Marcos Messias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Gustavo de Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luiz Gustavo de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Sá in the 55th minute. In the 57th match minute, Golabeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Geovani Senna notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of BR City FC's Daniel Monteiro. Daniel Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the match, BR City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Pereira came free, but Daniel Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Geovani Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golabeira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Daniel Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Rogério Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Hernani Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovani Senna scored 7-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Golabeira walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
