Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s Dino Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Os LargadoS N.A.S. from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Koehler came free, but Dino Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Salgado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jacinto Lira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Koehler in the 14th minute of play forced Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s goalkeeper Dino Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafu Koehler had several of the Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Dino Salgado as he didn't even see the shot coming. 22 minutes into the match, Cafu Koehler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dino Salgado. Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cafu Koehler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of Os LargadoS N.A.S. booed when Real Madruga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Trancoso in the 28th minute of play forced Real Madruga's goalkeeper Róbson Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Madruga's Jacinto Lira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dino Salgado. That made the score 5-0 after 31 minutes of play. In the 34th minute Jacinto Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Róbson Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes of play, Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s Claudinho Trancoso made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Róbson Castro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dino Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Lira in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Cafu Koehler made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Percival Fontes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Real Madruga's Manuel da Silveira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Koehler in the 58th minute of play forced Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s goalkeeper Dino Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s Dedê Rossi got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, Real Madruga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Carlos Neiva to maneuver through the defense. Real Madruga's Róbson Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Real Madruga from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s Róbson Castro threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudinho Trancoso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s Claudinho Trancoso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Róbson Castro. That made the score 6-3 after 91 minutes of play. 95 minutes in the game Percival Fontes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to José Carlos Vieira. Oswaldo Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s Dedê Rossi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Róbson Castro but with some difficulty. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Real Madruga fans cheered their team off the field, for while Os LargadoS N.A.S. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
