But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Madureira couldn't finish the play. A collision led to GodWarrior getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Walmyr de Amaral hit a great ball. In the 6th minute of the match Tony Madureira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartlomiej Grabowicz skillfully saved the ball. Betão Zanette was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. GodWarrior's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 11 played minutes GodWarrior got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Andrade. Jailson Massa struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Bartlomiej Grabowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FURIOSOS. After 14 played minutes GodWarrior got a freekick which was hit by Rony Vargas. In the 15th minute of the match Jefferson Viana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartlomiej Grabowicz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jailson Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bartlomiej Grabowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartlomiej Grabowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Secco in the 18th minute of play. FURIOSOS's Luiz Fábio Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Cosme in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to GodWarrior getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cristiano Cosme hit a great ball. Rony Vargas came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luiz Fábio Magalhães could save by the left post. Cristiano Cosme struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Luiz Fábio Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GodWarrior. Ruy Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Tony Madureira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bartlomiej Grabowicz. GodWarrior's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valdo Chaves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Fábio Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, GodWarrior's Valdo Chaves made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fábio Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Vitinho Coutinho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Cosme was the one to do the kick off. GodWarrior's Bartlomiej Grabowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save GodWarrior from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Cristiano Cosme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Fábio Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Luiz Fábio Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Chaves in the 60th minute of play. Tony Madureira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bartlomiej Grabowicz came out and tried to block the shot, but Tony Madureira slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 63rd minute. Bartlomiej Grabowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Secco in the 65th minute. Luiz Fábio Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Cosme in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FURIOSOS's zone, Betão Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fábio Magalhães came out of the goal and Betão Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Fábio Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdo Chaves went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of GodWarrior booed when FURIOSOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FURIOSOS defense, Valdo Chaves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fábio Magalhães. The FURIOSOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fábio Magalhães should have stopped the shot. FURIOSOS's Luiz Fábio Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Vargas in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Rony Vargas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GodWarrior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Luiz Fábio Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Cosme went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. GodWarrior had played much better football throughout.
