When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Granjeiro FC's Patrick Corrêa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dudu Jacinto. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Zeca Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granjeiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeca Sampaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dudu Jacinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dida Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Jacinto having to interfere. If Dida Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the last second Dudu Jacinto throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ernani Novaes in the 20thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Ernani Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd match minute, Águia de Marabá STAND BY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Dudu Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Novaes in the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Águia de Marabá STAND BY's zone, Dida Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dudu Jacinto came out of the goal and Dida Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernani Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Dudu Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dida Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ernani Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dida Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Dudu Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Águia de Marabá STAND BY's Dudu Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Novaes in the 42nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernani Novaes was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Gustavo Furlan during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Águia de Marabá STAND BY got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Furlan. Wiliam Moraes's late challenge caught a Granjeiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wiliam Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Águia de Marabá STAND BY fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! 62 minutes into the match, Águia de Marabá STAND BY's goal looked a bit too open when Dida Branco came free, but Dudu Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Granjeiro FC's Dida Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agostinho Mesquita hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Dudu Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Granjeiro FC's Dida Branco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dudu Jacinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adalberto Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Águia de Marabá STAND BY's Dudu Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Novaes in the 81st minute of play. Rômulo Silveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Prestes in the 83rd minute. Dida Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dudu Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Granjeiro FC fully deserved thier win.
