When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olavo Nascimento made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Marapanim's Olavo Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Germano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 53 played minutes Everest Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Marcio Lupatini. 54 minutes into the game, Marapanim's Alex Leão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
