In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Águia de Marabá STAND BY's goalkeeper Alfredão Seco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luiz Fábio Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Telmo Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Águia de Marabá STAND BY's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Madureira came free, but Alfredão Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Telmo Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Alfredão Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FURIOSOS. Tony Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telmo Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Seco having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Telmo Oliveira made the kick off in the second half. Alfredão Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Madureira in the 52nd minute of the match. Telmo Oliveira's late challenge caught a Águia de Marabá STAND BY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Telmo Oliveira helped the player get up and apologised. FURIOSOS's Igor Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Águia de Marabá STAND BY's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Madureira came free, but Alfredão Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Águia de Marabá STAND BY's zone, Telmo Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredão Seco came out of the goal and Telmo Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Águia de Marabá STAND BY defense, Telmo Oliveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredão Seco. The Águia de Marabá STAND BY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredão Seco should have stopped the shot.
