The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcinho Goiano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of GodWarrior booed when Granjeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcinho Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rômulo Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Cosme in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Marcinho Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartlomiej Grabowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Cosmes short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Rômulo Silveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 18 minutes into the match, GodWarrior's goal looked a bit too open when Dida Branco came free, but Bartlomiej Grabowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rony Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristiano Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristiano Cosmes short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Rômulo Silveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rômulo Silveira didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Valdo Chaves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rômulo Silveira. Granjeiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdo Chaves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Marcinho Goiano was shown his second yellow card after 34 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Granjeiro FC's Marcinho Goiano got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 40th match minute, GodWarrior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmyr de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Lopes hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dida Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Silveira having to interfere. After 54th play minutes Cristiano Cosme shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Rômulo Silveira and just under the crossbar into goal. If Cristiano Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rômulo Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Vargas in the 61st minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Valdo Chaves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rômulo Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Cristiano Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the game, GodWarrior's Cristiano Cosme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rômulo Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Rômulo Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dida Branco came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Granjeiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dida Branco couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute Rony Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Granjeiro FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Dida Branco hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Ernani Novaes took a quick shot and it went in 8-1 without a chance for Bartlomiej Grabowicz to make any attempt to save it. When the referee ended the match the GodWarrior players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
