Spectators: 7451 (Terracing: 5590, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Cafu Koehler made the kick off and thus started the match. Carlos Germano came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madruga's Cafu Koehler. But to his dismay, Cafu Koehler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Vitório da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Lira in the 16th minute of play forced Everest Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Manuel da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Everest Futebol Clube defense, Oswaldo Ferraz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Germano. The Everest Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Germano should have stopped the shot. Jacinto Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Germano having to interfere. Jacinto Lira scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Germano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Everest Futebol Clube's Célio Cearense got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 38 played minutes, Real Madruga's Cafu Koehler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Germano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Madruga reached it. In the 44th minute, Jacinto Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jacinto Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramón Quintal to make the kick off. Manuel da Silveira struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Carlos Germano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madruga. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cafu Koehler in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Cafu Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oswaldo Ferraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Carlos Germano made a huge save. Vitório da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Germano having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Everest Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Lira came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerson Mello hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Vitório da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cafu Koehler got free with Carlos Germano in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Cafu Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel da Silveira in the 82nd minute of play forced Everest Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Jacinto Lira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Carlos Germano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacinto Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Carlos Germano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute of the match, Jacinto Lira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlos Germano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Everest Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Real Madruga were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
