In the 21stth minute of the game Cafu Koehler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E Rui Bloem's Cesar Oberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Real Madruga's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Leal came free, but Róbson Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes Real Madruga got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Marques. The supporters of S.E Rui Bloem booed when Real Madruga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dedé Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cesar Oberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dedé Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. Cesar Oberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Vitório da Mata struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Cesar Oberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madruga. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Cafu Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madruga's supporters rose to their feet, but Cafu Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Oberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cafu Koehler made a kick off. Real Madruga's Róbson Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Real Madruga from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the match, Real Madruga's goalkeeper Róbson Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrianinho Leal. After 61 minutes of play Real Madruga's Dedé Marques was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 61st match minute, Real Madruga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Marques to maneuver through the defense. Kaká Sousa hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched S.E Rui Bloem eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
