Palmeiras S.E.P's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Paulo Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rdth minute of the game José Paulo Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Madrid's Yan Simão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Paulo Castro in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Simão saved Real Madrid from getting behind. Gilson Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Paulo da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. José Paulo Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, José Paulo Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yan Simão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gilson Alcântara made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Vítor Dracena in the 47th minute. In the 47th match minute, Palmeiras S.E.P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Coelho to maneuver through the defense. João Vítor Dracena took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilson Alcântara. Gilson Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 77 minutes into the match, Palmeiras S.E.P's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Lago came free, but Gilson Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Paulo Castro struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Yan Simão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras S.E.P. Palmeiras S.E.P's José Paulo Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Paulo Castro in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yan Simão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Palmeiras S.E.P defense, Pedro Paulo da Silveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilson Alcântara. The Palmeiras S.E.P fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilson Alcântara should have stopped the shot. Palmeiras S.E.P's Rogério de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Madrid's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
