After 15th play minutes Hudson Munhoz shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Dé Faria and just under the crossbar into goal. José Paulo Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gildo Salgado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Luisão Marquez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 97 minutes into the match, Jeferson do Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisão Marquez. Inter do Rio do Janeiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeferson do Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.
