The Dark Side FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Falcão Zanette should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hudson Munhoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play Inter do Rio do Janeiro's Yan Queirós was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Inter do Rio do Janeiro's Yan Queirós got a free kick in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Inter do Rio do Janeiro's zone, Dagoberto Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisão Marquez came out of the goal and Dagoberto Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dark Side FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Inter do Rio do Janeiro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
