Ruy Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Horizonte were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Falcão Zanette made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Diego Salgado sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the match, Diego Salgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Falcão Zanette. Dark Side FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Salgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Recife in the 86th minute of play forced Dark Side FC's goalkeeper Falcão Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute of the match, Gilmar Tróia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Falcão Zanette saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Falcão Zanette was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diego Salgado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 97 minute of play. Horizonte's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
