Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jeferson do Vale took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dé Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Lopez in the 6th minute of the match. Silvinho Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dé Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Lopez in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Ciza EC's goalkeeper Luisão Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gildo Salgado. Dé Faria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dagoberto Pontes's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 22nd match minute, Mirinzal SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Luisão Carvalho came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Mirinzal SS's Jeferson do Vale. But to his dismay, Jeferson do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jeferson do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisão Carvalho having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gildo Salgado got free with Luisão Carvalho in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 played minutes Mirinzal SS got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Catarinense. Dagoberto Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Faria having to interfere. Luisão Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dagoberto Pontes to make the kick off. Jeferson do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisão Carvalho having to interfere. Luiz Gustavo Abraão hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match Alfredinho Figueiredo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dé Faria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luisão Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Dagoberto Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciza EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagoberto Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Jeferson do Vale made a precise shot to the right of Luisão Carvalho. Ciza EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of Ciza EC booed when Mirinzal SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciza EC's Dagoberto Pontes got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dagoberto Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ciza EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mirinzal SS.
