Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Maël Ringot made the kick off which started today's match. The Sport Club Recife fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Sport Club Recife's Maël Ringot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alex Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Kobra in the 6th minute of play. When Sport Club Recife's Ronaldo Kobra in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cansancao AD's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laércio Pirani during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 11 minutes into the match, Cansancao AD's goal looked a bit too open when Maël Ringot came free, but Alex Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agnaldo Freitas hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Recife's Felippe Moraes got a free kick in the 14th minute. Laércio Peixoto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willian Chaves went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Belmiro Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belmiro Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Sport Club Recife was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Sport Club Recife's Laércio Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Recife from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, Maël Ringot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Arce. Cansancao AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maël Ringot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Willian Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Marco Maia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Arce showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maël Ringot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alex Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maël Ringot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cansancao AD's Alex Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Kobra in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Sport Club Recife were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Felippe Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Laércio Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Godoi in the 55th minute of play. Maël Ringot in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alex Arce, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Luiz Fernando Lago in the 59th matchminute tried to hit away a contribution it went so bad that the ball went into own goal via right pole. A dismal self made goal which led to 1-3. Silvério Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio Peixoto having to interfere. The supporters of Sport Club Recife booed when Cansancao AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredinho Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cansancao AD's Alex Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maël Ringot in the 66th minute of play. Cansancao AD's Alex Arce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Cansancao AD from getting a goal against them. Alex Arce was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Ronaldo Kobra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ronaldo Kobra really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 73rd minute Valdir Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Kobra succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 74th playminute. When Cansancao AD's Valdir Godoi in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sport Club Recife's goalie prevented a goal. In the 88th minute, Felippe Moraes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alex Arce. The goal made the score 2-6. After 92 played minutes Sport Club Recife got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Kobra. Ronaldo Kobra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Alex Arce skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Sport Club Recife players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
