With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorginho Silva in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard de Mendonça saved Apinage SC from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Kosmas Trabakoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard de Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Diego Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jarbas Lopez made a huge save. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Jorginho Silva sped through Apinage SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Richard de Mendonça. The audience was convinced that Jorginho Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard de Mendonça was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Herbert Lech took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard de Mendonça. Richard de Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Giovani Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Richard de Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Lech went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Richard de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Lech in the 43rd minute of the match. The Mamute fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Mamute's Jorginho Silva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaká Maranhense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Herbert Lech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Apinage SC's goal looked a bit too open when Hudson Vianna came free, but Richard de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Herbert Lech got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Herbert Lech came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Mamute fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Lech couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Jorginho Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mamute fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. After 77 minutes of play, Mamute's Herbert Lech made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard de Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Apinage SC's Richard de Mendonça got control of the ball when Jorginho Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Richard de Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorginho Silva in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Kaká Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kosmas Trabakoulos in the 96th minute of the match. Mamute played a much better game than Apinage SC and deserved their victory. The Apinage SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
