Spectators: 7375 (Terracing: 5532, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 147) TOP CORINTHIANS FC's Marcinho Félix started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonel Alves was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. Team Aqua's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 5th play minute João Francisco Brito came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aílton Pinheiro. 1-0. Richard Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernani Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes Team Aqua got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Guerra. Hernani Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leonel Alves in the 20th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Aílton Pinheiro kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After 23 minutes of play, Team Aqua's João Francisco Brito made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aílton Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Team Aqua booed when TOP CORINTHIANS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Team Aqua's goal looked a bit too open when Marcinho Félix came free, but Richard Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidney Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Team Aqua's Sidney Loyola got a free kick in the 31st minute. João Francisco Brito did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Aílton Pinheiro 34 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Alves in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aílton Pinheiro saved TOP CORINTHIANS FC from getting behind. In the 41st minute Leonel Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in TOP CORINTHIANS FC's zone, Luís Fábio de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aílton Pinheiro came out of the goal and Luís Fábio de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Leonel Alves made the kick off in the second half. João Francisco Brito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aílton Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Giovani Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. João Francisco Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st match minute, TOP CORINTHIANS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Marinho to maneuver through the defense. João Francisco Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to TOP CORINTHIANS FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Renan de Medeiros hit a great ball. Leonel Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind TOP CORINTHIANS FC's goalkeeper Aílton Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Team Aqua had played much better football throughout.
