After taking down the ball on MENGÃOF.C.'s corner Luiz Gustavo Mota fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kiko Maia quite easily take care of the ball. Kiko Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celsinho Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nico Vianna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Vítor Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Kiko Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kiko Maia came out of the goal and João Vítor Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, PACHACÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE's Ulysses Cruz got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 77th match minute, MENGÃOF.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Pinho to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute João Vítor Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kiko Maia made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Celsinho Pimenta sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to MENGÃOF.C. getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Luiz Eduardo Arantes hit a great ball. Edvaldo Barbosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Dante having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Edvaldo Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. PACHACÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvaldo Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Dante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded MENGÃOF.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PACHACÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE.
