Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valqueire Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Zeca Senna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Coelho in the 25th minute of play forced MENGÃOF.C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 27th minute when Adilson Recife elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. João Vítor Pinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeca Senna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play.
