Finus F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Samuel Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Cordeiro having to interfere. Ciro Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wellington Cabral went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 21 played minutes Test got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Carvalho. Delfim Cordeiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but João de Andrade showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. A collision led to Test getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Wellington Cabral hit a great ball. The supporters of Test booed when Finus F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luís Faustino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Finus F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Test the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Finus F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luís Faustino to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Durvalino Urbano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wellington Cabral was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júnior Corrêa in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delfim Cordeiro saved Test from getting behind. With a little luck, Finus F.C.'s Ciro Brito got control of the ball when Toninho de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Toninho de Alcântara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Brito having to make a save. 90 minutes into the match, Test's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Cardozo came free, but Delfim Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durvalino Urbano in the 91st minute of play. Delfim Cordeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João de Andrade's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Test's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Faustino came free, but Delfim Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Elias Mello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delfim Cordeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Finus F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
