Bryan Cortés stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcel Pires's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Marcel Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curiau's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bryan Cortés breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Campinense FC's Bryan Cortés played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Pires in the 8th minute of play. When Virgílio Matorin came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Curiau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgílio Matorin couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Virgílio Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 16 minutes, Ismael Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campinense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Valdir Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Campinense FC fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 22 minutes, Andrézinho Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curiau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrézinho Dracena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcel Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Filipe Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrézinho Dracena might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryan Cortés. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrézinho Dracena ran back to his position shaking his head. Bryan Cortés took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Telin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Axel Andreasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Valdir Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campinense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir Breckenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axel Andreasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Domingues was the one to do the kick off. Curiau's Axel Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Ove Telin in the 53rd minute of play. Marcel Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Cortés having to interfere. When Jan-Ove Telin fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campinense FC's protests and gave Jan-Ove Telin a yellow card for diving instead. Axel Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ove Telin in the 62nd minute of the match. Campinense FC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Curiau's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan-Ove Telin took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jan-Ove Telin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Axel Andreasson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Curiau's zone, Jan-Ove Telin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Andreasson came out of the goal and Jan-Ove Telin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Campinense FC's Ismael Domingues got a free kick in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel Pires in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryan Cortés prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st match minute, Campinense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Campinense FC got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Ove Telin. Campinense FC were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Curiau's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan-Ove Telin took the corner. Campinense FC's Jan-Ove Telin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Axel Andreasson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jan-Ove Telin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Andreasson having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Curiau's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Domingues came free, but Axel Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
