The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcel Pires was the one to do the kick off. Zeca Senna came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Curiau's Marcel Pires. But to his dismay, Marcel Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Zeca Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Marcel Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Zeca Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Curiau's Andrézinho Dracena slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeca Senna. That made the score 1-6 after 93 minutes of play. The Valqueire Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Curiau were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
