The score was now 1-0. Ernani Félix's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Carlos Dante skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Ernani Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of MENGÃOF.C. booed when Laranja Mecânica AF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Christobal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Gustavo Mota took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abu Gosoc. Laranja Mecânica AF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 17th minute, João Vítor Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 played minutes MENGÃOF.C. got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Cearense. Laranja Mecânica AF's Abu Gosoc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Pimenta in the 31st minute of play. Ernani Félix in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Dante, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 36th minute, Kaká Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, MENGÃOF.C.'s Carlos Dante got control of the ball when Ernani Félix tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 minutes, João Vítor Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MENGÃOF.C. and the Laranja Mecânica AF players grew even worse after the yellow card. João Vítor Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernani Félix in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Dante saved MENGÃOF.C. from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernani Félix made a kick off. João Vítor Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Abu Gosoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ernani Félix sped through MENGÃOF.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Dante. In the 60thth minute of the game Ernani Félix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MENGÃOF.C.'s Carlos Dante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Beto Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Carlos Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerônimo Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Natã Messias came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Laranja Mecânica AF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natã Messias couldn't finish the play. Natã Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Dante having to interfere. Carlos Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Natã Messias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Dante. MENGÃOF.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernani Félix in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Dante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MENGÃOF.C.'s Carlos Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Félix in the 88th minute of play. Zé Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Luiz Gustavo Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernani Félix in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Dante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laranja Mecânica AF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
