Manuel Munhoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Raí de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Paraná Clube's Manuel Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí de Almeida in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Raí de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Raí de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Munhoz came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Leria FC's Hélder Meirelles. But to his dismay, Hélder Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Paraná Clube's Manuel Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí de Almeida in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Leria FC booed when Paraná Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Diamantino Cabral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leria FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraná Clube the free kick. Diamantino Cabral hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes of play, Leria FC's Telmo Madureira made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Munhoz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Paraná Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Leria FC were winning 0-3.

Armandinho de Lara came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Paraná Clube's Dieguinho de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Dieguinho de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 73 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Madureira came free, but Manuel Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 75 in the game by Raí de Almeida from a close distance when the talented Manuel Munhoz managed to make a qualified save. Paraná Clube's players were relieved. Armandinho de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguinho de Azevedo in the 78th minute of play. If Dieguinho de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho de Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieguinho de Azevedo in the 82nd minute of the match.
