The coaching staff of Manguenza protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leonardo Coutinho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Manguenza:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lencois:s goal. After a rather tough play, Lencois's Cecilio Perpinya got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute Shi Ke Zhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Carlos Eduardo Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Manguenza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá Proença to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Lencois's Wanderson Freitas in action when he in the 33rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Stephan Pinnerup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shi Ke Zhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Matheus Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egídio da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shi Ke Zhi to make the kick off. When Lencois's Shi Ke Zhi in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manguenza's goalie prevented a goal. Matheus Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Carlos Eduardo Fontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William Cardoso. Lencois's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Eduardo Fontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Carlos Eduardo Fontes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of William Cardoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stephan Pinnerup succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. After 71 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Fontes made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Lencois's William Cardoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arrigo Bucciarelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Shi Ke Zhi ran back to his position shaking his head. Lencois's attentive Egídio da Cunha managed to snatch the ball when Sandrinho Tande made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 84th match minute, Lencois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shi Ke Zhi to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Lencois's Marcelinho Meirelles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matheus Passos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Lencois supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Manguenza's performance. The match ended with a win for Manguenza.
