Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amadeu da Costa started the match with the kick off. Pedrão de Lima took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lenílson Tepedino. Lenílson Tepedino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Favinhas FC's Amadeu da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armandinho de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Favinhas FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Adelino Araújo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Leria FC's Cipriano Simões got a free kick in the 19th minute. Lenílson Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adelino Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Favinhas FC's protests and gave Adelino Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. Adelino Araújo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Favinhas FC's zone, Adriano Prata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lenílson Tepedino came out of the goal and Adriano Prata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lenílson Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Favinhas FC's Caetano Gaúcho got a free kick in the 29th minute. Lenílson Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí de Almeida in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Leria FC's Diamantino Cabral got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Araújo in the 37th minute of play forced Leria FC's goalkeeper Armandinho de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Telmo Madureira was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Leria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Prata to maneuver through the defense. Amadeu da Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armandinho de Lara having to make a save. The supporters of Leria FC booed when Favinhas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes, Wiliam Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leria FC and the Favinhas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Leria FC got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam Salles. In the 71stth minute of the game Amadeu da Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leria FC's Armandinho de Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armandinho de Lara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeu da Costa's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. When Amadeu da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Favinhas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu da Costa couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Favinhas FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Adelino Araújo hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the game, Leria FC's Raí de Almeida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lenílson Tepedino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Cipriano Simões fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leria FC's protests and gave Cipriano Simões a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Favinhas FC a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emílio Vidal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Leria FC's Armandinho de Lara. 1-2. Armandinho de Lara came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Favinhas FC's Amadeu da Costa. But to his dismay, Amadeu da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Amadeu da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho de Lara having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Favinhas FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
