Carlos Eduardo Fontes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Lenílson Tepedino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Ian Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Carlos Eduardo Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Favinhas FC made a substitution. Charles de Mendonça replaced Elivélton Arantes. After the first half Favinhas FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Augusto Dias to strike the kick off in the second half. Matheus Passos made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Augusto Dias in the 57th minute. Carlos Eduardo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lenílson Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlos Eduardo Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Manguenza's Leonardo Coutinho got a free kick in the 75th minute. Matheus Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Lenílson Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Fontes in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Fabiano Novaes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manguenza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Favinhas FC the free kick. Carlos Eduardo Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Augusto Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matheus Passos having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Manguenza's goal looked a bit too open when José Augusto Dias came free, but Matheus Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandrinho Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Manguenza fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Favinhas FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
