Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedro Paulo Cabral kicked off to start the match. Magno Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Manoel Souza made a huge save. Gerson Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Augusto de Brito having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Dráuzio de Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EC Bahia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cocau Brasilia FC o o the free kick. Dráuzio de Godoi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Cocau Brasilia FC o o's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio de Godoi came free, but Manoel Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Paulo Cabral in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Augusto de Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Egídio Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manoel Souza came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by EC Bahia's Magno Pernambucano. But to his dismay, Magno Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, Cocau Brasilia FC o o's Manoel Souza got control of the ball when Egídio Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Paulo Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Pedro Paulo Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Augusto de Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to EC Bahia getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dráuzio de Godoi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, EC Bahia's Egídio Neto got a free kick in the 36th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Magno Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EC Bahia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magno Pernambucano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Mazinho Bittencourt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cocau Brasilia FC o o's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EC Bahia the free kick. 41 minutes into the game, one of Cocau Brasilia FC o o:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Manoel Souza, was totally fooled by EC Bahia's Bernardinho Couto, who 43 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Egídio Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Manoel Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Magno Pernambucano to make the kick off. Manoel Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Pernambucano in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Gerson Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to EC Bahia getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Luisão Teles hit a great ball. In the 58th match minute, Cocau Brasilia FC o o was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. After 62 played minutes Cocau Brasilia FC o o got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Neiva. Cocau Brasilia FC o o's Manoel Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Pernambucano in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Magno Pernambucano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Manoel Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zé Augusto de Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerson Neiva in the 79th minute. In the 87th minute, Renato Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Paulo Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manoel Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cocau Brasilia FC o o getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Marcelinho Proença hit a great ball. EC Bahia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cocau Brasilia FC o o for a fine match.
