Matheus Pitta took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walmir Reis. Walmir Reis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luiz Fabiano Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Juventus Foot Ball Club got a freekick which was hit by Robinho de Barros. Walmir Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matheus Pitta in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmir Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute Matheus Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matheus Pitta succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. The Fortaleza Esporte Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Juventus Foot Ball Club were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ludomir Golembiewski to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton da Costa in the 73rd minute of play forced Fortaleza Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Walmir Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Juventus Foot Ball Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
