But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renato Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. Cássio Arruda made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Bruno Coutinho sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute Caco Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Vicenzi's Cássio Arruda got control of the ball when Bruno Coutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquim Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Souza having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Vicenzi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Abreu to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Pedro Paulo Cabral managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Válter Abreu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Pedro Paulo Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Dênis Barreto made the kick off in the second half. Cássio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Cabral in the 55th minute of play. Manoel Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Barreto in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Pedro Paulo Cabral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cocau Brasilia FC o o fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Cássio Arruda came out of the goal and Pedro Paulo Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute Bruno Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Vicenzi's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Coutinho came free, but Cássio Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Penha in the 85th minute of play forced Vicenzi's goalkeeper Cássio Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Vicenzi's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Coutinho came free, but Cássio Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Cabral in the 91st minute of play. Lúcio Araújo lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 93 played minutes Vicenzi got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Araújo. The audience held their breath when Dino Aparecido in the 95th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Cássio Arruda's left hand side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cocau Brasilia FC o o fully deserved thier win.
