When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Denílson Sampaio sped through Juventus Foot Ball Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vito Saraiva. Vito Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jânio Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Leopoldo Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Denílson Sampaio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vito Saraiva. That made the score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Newtown EC's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Pitta came free, but Leopoldo Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matheus Pitta in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Seco saved Newtown EC from getting behind. When Jânio Coelho fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventus Foot Ball Club's protests and gave Jânio Coelho a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Juventus Foot Ball Club got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Coelho. When Denílson Sampaio came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Newtown EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denílson Sampaio couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denílson Sampaio to make the kick off. Vito Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from A.J. 夏侯惇, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Juventus Foot Ball Club's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Schmidt came free, but Vito Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vitório Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Newtown EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitório Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. In the 65th match minute, Newtown EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitório Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Vitório Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vito Saraiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitório Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. Vitório Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Vito Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newtown EC. Denílson Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 74 played minutes Newtown EC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Barros. In the 90th minute, Denílson Sampaio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vito Saraiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Vito Saraiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitório Gonçalves went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score.
