In the 13th minute, Luan Galvão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Laércio Montenegro. The goal made the score 2-0. With his leg Laércio Montenegro managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Juventus Foot Ball Club's Matheus Pitta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus Foot Ball Club's zone, Nando Salgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vito Saraiva came out of the goal and Nando Salgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovani Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Saraiva having to interfere. Matheus Pitta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Laércio Montenegro made a huge save. Laércio Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luan Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 35th play minute Jânio Coelho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Laércio Montenegro. 4-0. 40 minutes into the match, Macaé FC's goalkeeper Laércio Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jânio Coelho. The crowd rose to their feet as Aírton da Costa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Laércio Montenegro. That made the score 5-0 in the 44 minute of play. In the 48th match minute, Juventus Foot Ball Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geovani Salles was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Nando Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jânio Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Juventus Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Vito Saraiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reginaldo Godoi. Juventus Foot Ball Club's Vito Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Linares in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Juventus Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Vito Saraiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Alcântara. Laércio Montenegro came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus Foot Ball Club's Luan Galvão. But to his dismay, Luan Galvão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 74 minutes into the match, Macaé FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Galvão came free, but Laércio Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amauri Moura fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macaé FC's protests and gave Amauri Moura a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus Foot Ball Club's zone, Amauri Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vito Saraiva came out of the goal and Amauri Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laércio Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute of the match Juventus Foot Ball Club got a corner. Macaé FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aírton da Costa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alberto Alcântara's late challenge caught a Juventus Foot Ball Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Macaé FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Alberto Alcântara hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Aírton da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus Foot Ball Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Aírton da Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laércio Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amauri Moura hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Alberto Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Vito Saraiva. Juventus Foot Ball Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Macaé FC's Alberto Alcântara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vito Saraiva. That made the score 6-2 after 98 minutes of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Macaé FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Juventus Foot Ball Club.
