Raphael Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Fiori Bezerra charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fiori Bezerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fiori Bezerra hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Jonas Brasil made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Trahira's Oscar da Silveira. Raphael Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Damião in the 15th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Trahira got a freekick which was hit by Oscar da Silveira. Rubens Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Branco in the 17th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato Prado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trahira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São Paulo Luz the free kick. Paulo Renato Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Trahira's Oscar da Silveira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jonas Brasil, made in the 89th minute of the game. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 92nd minute, when Trahira's Sílvio Pombal after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Raphael Donato in São Paulo Luz's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. When the final whistle sounded Trahira left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than São Paulo Luz.
