Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dráuzio de Godoi took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes E.C.Bahia got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Branco. Zé Augusto de Brito was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Batıhan Uluerkan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Batıhan Uluerkan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Luisão Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 16 minutes of play, E.C.Bahia's Raphael Vergílio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Augusto de Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 18 minutes, Andrézinho Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C.Bahia and the EC Bahia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andrézinho Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Magno Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilson Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes EC Bahia got a freekick which was hit by William Gerber. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Raphael Vergílio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 37thth minute of the game Batıhan Uluerkan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EC Bahia's Zé Augusto de Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. E.C.Bahia's Batıhan Uluerkan got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Batıhan Uluerkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Batıhan Uluerkan made a kick off. The throw-in from Natã Rocha in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by E.C.Bahia's Valério Tróia. After 53rd play minutes Batıhan Uluerkan shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Zé Augusto de Brito and just under the crossbar into goal. Zé Augusto de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Vergílio in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, E.C.Bahia's Batıhan Uluerkan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Augusto de Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Magno Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Silva having to interfere. When Egídio Neto fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EC Bahia's protests and gave Egídio Neto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Egídio Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, E.C.Bahia's Batıhan Uluerkan got a free kick in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, EC Bahia's Egídio Neto got a free kick in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. E.C.Bahia fully deserved thier win.
