Edu Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Crespo Esporte Clube's Henrique Custódio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 31 minutes, Rubinho Jacinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crespo Esporte Clube and the Ibiara SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Crespo Esporte Clube's zone, Maicon Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edu Carvalho came out of the goal and Maicon Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jano Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jano Ramos got free with Edu Carvalho in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Jano Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibiara SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Jano Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edu Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 played minutes Ibiara SS got a freekick which was hit by Benê Moura. 97 minutes into the match, Jano Ramos notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Crespo Esporte Clube's Edu Carvalho. Edu Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ibiara SS played a much better game than Crespo Esporte Clube and deserved their victory. The Crespo Esporte Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
